VM5000 CONTROL UNIT
For Electrostatic Spray Gun
Control Unit of manual electrostatic spray gun solvent-based only
This device is used for setting the high voltage, changing recipe and control the electrostatic spray gun GM5000EA (Air Spray) and GM5000EAC (Air Coat) It can not be used with automatic electrostatic spray gun or water-based paint version.

Setting Voltage and Current
To operate this spraying gun in full performance. Setting voltage and current is neccessary. The setting must be depended on material, environtment and production output.
ATEX ZONE 2 COMPLIANT
This unique feature allows to bring the control unit closer to the spray gun, in an area which is classified as ATEX Zone 2.
Recipe
Three recipes of voltage and current can be stored. They can be activated from the gun or control unit. This change of pre-defined settings enables the painter to select the prefered working conditions.

Service Time
For best spraying performance over time, a preventive maintenance of the gun is recommended. The spraying time of the connected gun can be monitored and a service interval can be set
Monitoring of Gun Grounding
The grounding of the gun is monitored by the control unit for maximum safety of the painter. If grounding is interrupted high voltage is cut off.
Operator Interface
The very easy and simple one knob adjustment of all parameters allows operators to change setting quickly.

The main duty of control unit is setting the voltage and current rate into suitable value following each workpiece and support the painter. WAGNER design control panel to be simply understanding. All rate will be adjusted by setting knob. The component of control panel are following as below;
1. Recipe Selecting button This control unit can record 3 recipe that all recorded recipe can bring back to use in the same condition. No need to re-setting, Just push the recipe button then the spray performance will be the same and quality of each workpiece will be the same.
2. High Voltage Setting Button (Kv) When you push this button, the signal beside button will be light up. It show that you can adjust the high voltage rate not more than 80 Kv by adjust knob (Pos.10).
3. Current Setting Button (uA) When you push this button, the signal beside button will be light up. It show that you can adjust the current rate not more than 100 uA by adjust knob (Pos.10).
4. The light parameter of Kv and uA Both of rate are adjustable about the limit rate only. These 2 values will be changeable, increase and decrease always while using. Kv will be changed opposite value of uA that it depend on the distance between spray gun and workpiece.
5. Ready Switch on/off It just the button for on/off or we can call stand-by button. The main switch is located at the rear size of control unit.
6. Service Display Sign It inform you when some part in VM5000 is damaged and need to be service.
7. External Release sign when the remote changing recipe cannot be used
8. Warning Signal for problem issue
9. LED number display There have a 2 cases, in case of voltage or current setting, the number will show the exact vaue of rate in digital number that it is accuracy than light parameter. In case of problem found, the number will be the error code that it present as 3 digits number.
10. Universal Adjustable Knob It will be operated together with pos2 and pos.3. When you push pos.2, the knob will adjust the Kv rate. If push pos.3, the knob will adjust the uV rate.
