Electrostatic Technology for Air Spray Gun
Air Spray method is paint spray by air-compressed driving and utilize the atomization to get the most efficient. Small workpiece or large object but there is a nook around piece are required to use with air-spray gun in order to attract high volume material paint to surface object and get the best quality of spraying. However, this method consume a huge material paint quantity if it’s used in mass-production.
WAGNER develop electrostatic gun for Air-Spray method to solve the problem of large material consumption rate. GM5000EA support to decease material paint cost for spray in mass-production. Electrostatic bring material paint to wrap around workpiece automatically. Paint will be atomized in proper direction. More time-saving and provide better quality of work. GM 5000EA
This is a most popular electrostatic gun. It’s designed for use with solvent-based material and compatible with paint resistant more than 150 kOhm. It’s friendly designed for user, light weight and compact.
GM 5000EAW
W code behind “EA” mean this electrostatic gun are designed for water-based material. Compatible with paint resistant between 1kΩ.cm to 1MΩ.cm. No HV cascade in the gun and special isolated paint hose. It is recommend to use with WAGNER Aqua Code system.
For spray with water-based paint, it is necessary to use with specific equipment as details on below link;

Application and Accessories

Setting at the fingers tip
Small button panel are located at rear yellow panel that user can change spray recipe on this panel. No need to change at controller. Warning Light also locate at this yellow panel. Green light show the normal situation. Orange light warn immediately user about gun problem.. For example, ground problem occur etc. It also have on/off switch for voltage on panel.

Different nozzle diameters from 0.06 and 2 mm are available for flat spray to adapt the spray gun to low and high material flow and viscosities.

8 Nozzle size for each flat nozzle are separated by color in order to select for suitable work.

Round Nozzle has 2 size for diameter. D8 is 0.06 mm diameter and D12 is 2 mm diameter.


Example of Workpiece
From left picture, most of workpiece is small size, corner nook around piece and groove panel. For example, eye-glasses, bicycle body frame, spring and wheel. These workpiece are required to use Air Spray system to atomize paint flow to attach workpiece. When combine with electrostatic technology, wraparound effect will bring all paint to attach quickly surface and support for cost and time saving.
