Feeding Support Unit for Automatic Spraying System
In case the automatic spraying system which has 1 feeding unit supply more than 1 spray gun, expecting that the pressure in each spray gun will be similar level is not possible because the feeding unit is built for 1 spray gun only. Although, some feeding unit can supply more than 2 spray gun but it can not be guaranteed that the pressure level for every spray gun will be equitable or not.
Therefore, all those of feeding support unit are required for installation because it support to control the spraying process to be efficient and constantly. You can see more details in below;
1. Paint Pressure Regulator

Duty of Paint Pressure Regulator
The major reason is that the pressure from feeding unit feed different pressure level because there is no support unit to control and maintain pressure level that the release pressure level will be inconstantly and can not be predicted exactly the pressure volume.
This support unit will be the solution to solve this problem. This regulator will adjust the paint pressure to be suitable and constant volume before be feed to spray gun. The benefit that spray gun will spray the constant atomizing rate with similar flow rate and make film thickness on surface to be equitable and homogenous surface coating.
Paint Pressure Regulator PR-5B
The diaphragm-type paint regulator can keep the paint pressure and flow rate constant for paint quality control purposes such as ensuring uniform paint film thickness. The lineup offers two models, either of which may be used as appropriate for the intended pressure regulation range.
As with a diaphragm pump, those parts of the unit that come into contact with paint are treated with mirror finish to make the regulator easier to clean.

Remark
If your automatic spraying system process by upstream only (From feeding unit to spray gun) without circulation, using only paint regulator is appropriated but if there have an requirement of circulating system such as paint flow is required to be always moveable in order to avoid the drying and hardened because spray gun is not operating all times. Paint regulator is not enough for this case because there have back pressure in flow line which make flow line to be stuck and can not be movable. Paint regulator is not designed to solve this case, it necessary to use back pressure valve to solve this problem in order to maintain pressure level in circulating system.

2. Back Pressure Valve

Engage the back pressure in circulating system
In case of spraying system which require circulating system (or it can be called "downstream flow line" - reverse flow from spray gun to feeding unit), the back pressure will be occur in this flow line.
Normally, the back pressure will make pressure level in overall of whole spraying system will be fluctuated and inconstantly. Spray gun will atomize paint with inconstantly pressure that it reduce the spraying performance. Using back pressure valve to control the back pressure to maintain to be not more than suitable level and keep system circulate paint flow in constant level. If the back pressure volume is exceed that required limit volume, back pressure valve will adjust automatically back pressure level to be suitable level following setting requirement and support to convey paint flow from spray gun back to feeding unit in the same direct.
In conclusion, the back pressure valve is significantly required item in circulating system.
Back Pressure Valve PR-B5B
This back pressure valve support the circulating system to be operated without problem. It can be connected with paint pipe or paint hose immediately. You can see the installation example on below;

Example of back pressure valve installation

Bring back pressure valve (PR-B5B - aluminium type and PR-B5BN - stainless type) to attach on flow line in circulating section.

Connect paint hose with valve both inlet section and outlet section.

Connect paint hose which be assigned to be downstream flow from spray gun to attach in "inlet section" of valve.

Connect paint hose in "outlet section" from valve to feeding unit which is the beginning point of flow line.

3. Flow Control Valve

Keep the paint flow to be constant even the spray gun always movable.
The third feeding support unit which is not required for every spraying system because some system that the spray is fixed in the same position or even the spray gun is movable but the is not be moved frequently during operating so flow ate may not be significantly changed.
However, once automatic spray gun is attached on the robot or reciprocator. The height position will be always movable throughout the operating process for every second. It impact to flow rate that it will be fluctuated because the different in height position, flow rate in each height position is different and then impact to spraying system so this support unit can be solved this problem.
Flow control valve keep the flow rate to be always constant throughout the operating process whatever the spray gun is movable or not. Once the flow rate is constant, it support the paint pressure and back pressure valve to be operated with full performance.

Special model of flow control valve and also has the model FCV-31-R4 and FCV-31-R8 are ideal for regulating low flow rates because the pressure receiving area size of the diaphragm air chamber is different from that of the paint chamber.
